That's true of any holiday film though.

Ralphie's birthday falls on Valentine's Day. When everyone else is worried about chocolates and cards, he's hoping against hope that his parents will get him that Red Ryder air rifle. There, I just turned A Christmas Story into A Valentine Story.


Maybe, but the message isn't the same there, is it? To be fair, though, I don't even like that movie.

Maybe, but the tone and message would be much different, as would a lot of smaller aspects that build it up to be a Christmas movie.
