It also seems to me that they removed dodge rolling, unless I just don't have that ability yet, but it seems pretty late in the game to still not have something so basic. You should have paid attention to the tutorial at the beginning, pretty sure it's the fist thing they teach you lol. But yeah dodge roll was originally replaced with the dash thing.
