TF2 I probably played more than a thousand hours of Team Fortress 2 in high school and college, it was my go-to game for a lot if years. It was less serious than Counterstrike, I could just join a server with my preferred map and settings and play for a few hours. TF2 was almost never toxic, which I've encountered a lot in other multiplayer games like LoL. There was too much beautiful chaos for anyone to really get angry about anything. I have so many memories of building sentries in key positions as engineer, zooming around as scout, setting up sticky bombs as demoman... I could pick whatever class I felt like that day and go wild. Sadly, in recent years, I havent been able to find that feeling again in TF2. Servers all seem to be full of bots or afk people farming hats or whatever, along with just less people in general playing an older game. Multiplayer games seem to be moving away from dedicated servers too in favor of ranked matches or battle royale formats.
