Topic | CE, quickly, give me something clever to say about Ulysses by James Joyce. |
Xavier_On_High 11/17/21 8:06:18 PM #16: | Freddie_Mercury posted... When you're reading Ulysses, just remember that it's not like other books. Its prose is incredibly artistic, almost to the point where you have to be paying complete attention to it to even remotely understand it. I remember listening to a chapter on Audible (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought a paragraph was absolute bollocks during the listen. Then, I closed my eyes for a second, and all of a sudden the book had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Ulysses could just become something so different when you take a look into the words. I really hope this is a copy-paste job, because we've already moved on from Ulysses, but thanks anyway. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
