All those retcons, all those novelizations not enough people cared for, all the original devs and writers who had jumped ship, and all those backhanded turns from established lore or character motives; Acti-Blizz expects people to believe 9.2 will be the culmination of all events since Warcraft 3? Like I said in another topic, if I was more certain ATVI would once again plummet by January, I would place more bets against them once I'm done potentially raising funds through a share of another company. Keep in mind that, a week and a half ago, Acti-Blizz fell from about 80 a share to 66 a share overnight, which was nice for anyone who had bet against them beforehand.

Imagine earning several hundred, in gains, for flipping the bird at a company you don't like. <_<

But yeah, it's clear with Acti-Blizz's claims of reaching the climax of their flagship's "plot" is an attempt to take the wind out of FFXIV's sails. FFXIV isn't even trying to sink WoW; in fact, it's telling other boats in the area to stop firing at the former king of online gaming. It's too bad WoW is so busy sinking itself.

At least, in less than a month, we shall get to play the FFXIV expansion that actually has been planned from the beginning.

Also: Ul'dah's Syndicate would probably be facepalming hard at Acti-Blizz right now, Lolorito possibly thinking of, shall we say, rescuing certain assets. Actually, Rowena might consider it as well. Maybe she'd rehire the ladies from there and rename them with -na names for their protection.
