I usually mix and match so it doesnt feel repetitive You can do quests to level up (seems you would dislike them based on your comment). There are main quests, side stories or town projects You can farm materials and level up your trades (like engineering, smelting, outfitting, fishing) which are also a good alternative method of leveling up You can grind pvp and do pvp quests or get XP for killing other players You can farm monsters as any other mmo You can farm corruption portals (mini events with a lot of monsters) gna647 posted... what are the starting missions like They are pretty basic: go to this place and kill monsters or go this place and look for chests.
