For regular Joycons, though, I'm using ones that do drift while avoiding using ones that don't for the sake of making sure that I retain the option of using non-drifting ones in case I really need them some day. It's the controller equivalent of hoarding Elixirs.

What a shame that this is even necessary at all. I really don't see why Nintendo doesn't consider this to be a larger priority than OLED screens with the same faulty controls. It's not like it's only happened to 6 people, it's widespread.
