I fully expect the rallying cry by people aghast at the price point is going to be "Hollow Knight", regardless of the actual direct connotation. You gotta remember that the last time a full 2D Metroid that wasn't a remake came out was FUSION, which a vast majority of gamers today either did not play or, if they did, they got for $8 on the Eshop.
