Topic	IGN's "Best Video Game of All Time" Contest is down to its final two
luigi13579 09/27/21 4:56:28 PM #56:	I called one of the two before clicking on the topic. I expected BotW and GTA V. If they weren't in the same side of the contest, it probably would have been that. Recency bias is to be expected in these things (although we probably have the opposite problem here lol), along with people just voting for what they recognize, so the results aren't surprising. Super Metroid getting knocked out by Apex Legends in the first round though... Yet Metroid Prime beat Hades (one of the current indie darlings) by the exact same margin. Other highlights: FFVII demolished by BotW in the first round. Super Mario 64 well beaten by Arkham City Symphony of the Night dismantled by Resident Evil 4 In the most one-sided matchups, God of War (2018) beat StarCraft 90/10 and The Witcher 3 beat Diablo II 85/15. Overwatch beaten by BioShoch too. Poor Blizzard (not).
