| Bio1590 09/27/21 3:06:09 PM #1: | Toronto fucked up only going 2-2 against the Twins. They're currently 2 games back of the Yankees for the first WC spot and 1 game back of Boston for the second. They are also only 1 game up on Seattle and 2 games up on Oakland. Oakland and Seattle have a 3-game series starting today so one of them is basically going to eliminate the other. It's the only way they can actually control their own destiny. If they only win the series 2-1 they're still a game behind the Yankees, and either tied with, still 1 game behind, or 2 games behind Boston, depending on how Boston does in their 3-game series with Baltimore. If they end up in that scenario then even sweeping Baltimore doesn't guarantee a playoff berth, or hell, even a play-in game. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
