I enjoyed how they gave more screen time to the other characters, but I was expecting there to be more resolution to Ilulu's story, or more Ilulu in general, but there just isn't. Her past doesn't catch up to her in any way like Tohru's does. I know it's typical for slice of life to end with drama but I never felt Dragon Maid did that particularly well compared to it's comedy, and the last 2 episodes where among the weakest in my opinion for that reason. Nitpick because it's a comedy, but Tohru's past being revealed kind of puts into question why "being an evil chaos dragon" is part of her character, when she wasn't raised by the Chaos Faction. --- YOU COULDN'T AFFORD IT! <cite>TigerTycoon posted [p:958452316] in Anime, Man...
