why did you rope your doctor into talking to your job

Not my manager, but my senior manager. She seemed understanding at the time. She told me I could look at resources paid by the company and then she forwarded it to HR for a friendly chit chat--which she then told HR about.

HR lady was the one that asked me to follow up with a doctor and fill an ADAA form and asked if I needed accomodations. my main doc couldn't even diagnose me so I had to go to a psychiatrist

I didn't sign it yet. Don't think I want any financial compensation. I am getting some severance pay.
Just want them to know I could do the job and follow up with my psychiatrist clearing that up. And just move on with my life.
