Games used to take 3-4 years or less to make, now they take like 7-10 and everything is padded out to be some 40 hour epic with full voice acting and motion capture. Yet gamers insist on the 60 dollar price tag and trash the very idea of dlc and micro transactions. Not to say they would happen eventually, but gamers are absolutely to blame for the speed in which gaming adapted this practice.
