The moderate* members of the GOP will never reform anything, if that's even still possible, if they refuse to acknowledge their complicity in the actions that led to this point. Acting like Trump was the beginning isn't just morally indefensible, it's a failure on a pure analytical level. If you don't understand the logistics of how this happened, you will never get yourselves out of it. Would I be willing to forgive some of these people and move on? Honestly, yes. But to get forgiveness you have to be honest with yourself and with others about what you need forgiveness for, or the exchange of apology/forgiveness will remain an empty gesture with no movement forward. *Let's use the temperament definition of moderate here. --- Congrats on Advokaiser for winning the 2018 Guru Contest!
