Not a gotcha. The photo you posted is from Philadelphia in 2020. In PA poll workers can wear political attire.

The story ITT is about a man in CA, where you cannot wear political attire working at a polling place.

The photo Kolibri posted has been circulating on far right wing twitter for years but doesn't account for the fact that different states have different laws for polling places.
