It affects the company's reputation (both publicly and in terms of how employees expect to be treated if they encounter similar problems), it affects how comfortable his coworkers (especially female ones) are going to be around him, it demonstrates a risk that he might go off on a tirade like this while he's supposed to be working (possibly endangering coworkers)...
