That feels like diluting the purpose of Yuri's character arc for the sake of fanservice. This is exactly what happens. Flynn's purpose in the story falls apart when he gets dragged into the dorky skits and victory quotes for the rest of the party, because he's no longer a shining paragon of excellence who still struggles to make real change happen by virtue of still being only one man.
