Memes aside, I did genuinely enjoy this song a good bit after being introduced to it by the show. I knew what I was getting into, and I know that this is basically what the genre of is, but DAMN does this feel like dad music. Like, above and beyond probably anything else I've heard. Maybe it's the timbre idk. But it's music for a dad that also really likes Masashi Hamauzu! Which I also expected, but listen, I haven't listened to him yet so I needed to go through these revelations myself sometime. I think by its nature (and my tendencies in appreciating music), this is something I'd enjoy listening to a lot and not think about much when not hearing it. The album is very calm and understated, and I'd need something a little more boisterous to be propelled into the highest tier (yes I know this is the highest album rated right now you know what I mean). TO be extremely clear, this is no knock against the album, I enjoy this quite a lot and will likely listen to it in full often when I'm in the mood for something low-key. Don't have too much to say on this, as me liking it was basically a foregone conclusion Score: hidekuni horita/pso2 Favorite Song: So May It Secretly Begin (specific moments/chords stood out more in It's Just Talk though) --- Kneel... or you will be knelt ...
