Topic	so i have begun an attempt to clear my steam backlog. wish me well in this folly
Radix 09/05/21 9:11:12 PM #45:	so there was a humble jackbox bundle which i got. now i have all 8 you dont know jacks and the first 6 jackboxen! well technically only the first 4 boxen as theyve run out of keys for 5 and 6. ill get them eventually though. just like ill play them eventually whenever i got some people over which will be who knows when. gonna count them as done since i dont really want to play by myself (although i may turn them on to get the cards and fiddle with settings) 120-131/172/174 finished the SamSho collection achievements. the arcade got toned way down after 3 which is good. it was still kinda bullshit but a lot more manageable. still need to play with actual people since its hard to see the true goodness through bullshit. currently prefer The Last Blade 132/172 started up Legend of Fae. its one of those match 3 of the same color gem kinda games. this one is more of an action game kinda? its divided into levels and each level has some battles. matching the gems gets you mana to cast spells to kill enemies. couple different kinds of enemies that do different things so theres some thinking involved. after each level you get an item thing that you level up with it. unfortunately theres not enough to fully level everything and resetting costs one of the items so its kinda shitty. only issue i have with it is you have to switch between the gem screen and the top screen where you move and target enemies. its annoying to do on its own and some enemies cast spells that sorta force you to switch to close the text window. not overly awful but like i said annoying. seems like the kinda thing that wouldve been good on the DS or maybe a phone. i looked around and saw theres like 50 levels and im on 27 i think so i might could finish this week also went through Rusty Lake Hotel. it was one of those free games i got some ways back and its the point and click i was gonna do last week. its a short one and not too bad. the puzzles are mostly solvable except for the extra stuff needed to perfect everything and thats unnecessary except for achievements. storyways its kinda fucked up. maybe. its apparently a spinoff of some other series and takes place like waist deep in that one. maybe whatever the fuck happened here makes more sense with the rest of the series or maybe its all one big fucked up mess iunno 133/172 also started I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream as the weekly pointy clicky. i watched an LP of this some years ago because i wanted to play it but didnt have it. and then got it on steam and am playing it now. well sorta im mostly just going through it with a guide just to refresh myself on the story. gameplay is dated and kinda not great. hard to see some things too. still though its one of those games that i think people should play. also maybe read the short story. i should do that sometime. got through 2 of the 5 characters weekly fite game is Mortal Kombat XL. got X when it came out on ps4 whenever that was and put some time into it. didnt care for it that much though. not sure why since i did like Injustice and MK9. story was mostly bad but it at least had some progression with the kids taking over. also not a fan of the fatalities. way too over the top for my taste tbqh also kind of a shame that i missed out on getting MK9 pc. these dumm guest characters are great but fucking licenses man :/ . at least i got this one and ill be getting some others that might disappear 134/172 and that is it for this week. not sure if ill start up something new or just stick with Fae and Mouth/Scream. i think im in a bit of a lull. i think its because im big excited for Melty Blood that im kinda not wanting to play anything right now. trying to clear the backlog kinda encourages me to play something at least. had this happen on ps4 and didnt play anything for like a month :/ . also actually been wavering on getting D2R. its not fixing what i want to be fixed and melty is the next week so iunno. might end up holding off on it for a while to see how the post release support it https://store.steampowered.com/developer/jackboxgames https://store.steampowered.com/app/109200/Legend_of_Fae/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/435120/Rusty_Lake_Hotel/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/245390/I_Have_No_Mouth_and_I_Must_Scream/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/307780/Mortal_Kombat_X/ --- congrats to azuarc for victorying GotD guru https://imgur.com/fKQfZ0Q <cite>Radix posted [p:957771252] in so i have ...
