Rap is a genre I generally dislike, but I didn't warn the topic not to nominate it because I can usually at least tolerate it, and there's probably some of it out there that'd I'd be a fan of. This ain't it. Even my headphones killed themselves 30 seconds into the first song! If you asked somebody who knew my tastes to try to make a song I'd hate as much as possible, 745 sticky would be a pretty good attempt. Gratuitous autotune that robs me of any ability to appreciate the vocals, gratuitous wubs of the kind I hate the most at the end... gratuitous most everything but instrumentals doing anything interesting. It's not the most intolerable song I've ever heard, but it's up there. Song 2 is no better. Nor is song 3. Song 4 is kind of nothing. I think I'm done, I'm sorry. I can give it some props for being weird and experimental--I *like* weird and experimental--but the specific ways they went about doing it were often exactly the things I don't want or seemed to just be there for no other purpose than to be weird --- Kneel... or you will be knelt ...
