If I didn't already know that Incubus did these, I could've guessed five other groups that feasibly could've made most of these songs. Like, it's weird to think a song has vocals like RHCP and instrumentals like Soundgarden or RATM and a chorus like Tool, but the impression I get right off the bat (don't make fun of me about how terrible this description is). That isn't to say that this doesn't have personality. It very clearly does, from the very first song to the last. oh hey you posted Aqueous Transmission in discord the other day. I didn't listen to it then but I see why you think it's so good. This is definitely a standout. Got frogs too. That's how you know it's good. I don't have a ton to say about individual songs here. The album doesn't take me on a journey through emotional highs and lows. I don't think this is really revolutionary and it's not really anything I haven't heard before.
