You may know me from "NFUN Ranks 1000 VGM". This ranking will not be nearly as arduous as that one. I will take ONE album from each person, and will open it up to SECONDS if I get less than 20 albums or if I want to keep going. The albums can be anything. Instrumental, mainstream, a soundtrack, an improv jam session, three songs from a Grateful Dead concert, whatever. I only ask that you please don't meme on me or give me excessively long albums (no Bull of Heaven nonsense). If you nominate something I've heard before (unlikely), I'll let you know, but I'll still rank it if you don't mind. Part of the purpose is to find new areas of music that I like, so I won't bias the field too much by describing my tastes except to say that unless it's doing some wild shit, I will probably not be receptive to modern pop, with a fair chance I won't even be able to finish the album. If I finish ranking and you get a revelation of something I'd love from my comments on other albums, I'll probably give it a shot. I'll be doing the rankings/reviews as albums are posted in here. Please give me some kind of link, or a place I can find the album if it's not conveniently online. The detail of my comments will be proportional to how strongly my opinions on [aspects of] each album run.
