I've heard nothing but good things from the demo and other early impressions. people are gonna laugh, but skits/victory screens are a big deal for me. I don't think Tales games are all that great/original in terms of overall plot, so a large burden rests on character interaction. I flat out dislike the new way they're doing skits. Again, I'm feeling 50/50 about the game so I'll be stoked if the story/battle system/exploration ends up blowing me away. edit: also, i think even the most generous Tales fan will admit that the series as a whole is spotty in terms of peaks and valleys. a lot of games in the series begin amazingly and fizzle out midway through, while some of them are pretty bad throughout!
