In case you dont know it, Wayne is not only an actor, he is a movie star. He was more well known than anyone else in the industry. His first starring role was in Stagecoach (1939). Other notable films include The Quiet Man (1952), John Waynes The Searchers (1956), The Undefeated (1969), and The Green Berets (1968). Wayne was in more than 100 films and received an Academy Award for his first film performance. He was an actor who made everyone else look like dog shit.
