I've played tons of Atlus games and never felt as bogged down as playing DQXI It's not about the length of the game, it's the tightness of the story. It felt like I played DQXI for 10 hours and achieved basically nothing. I ran errands for a town or something. It's filler. (As an aside, this is also why I think P5 is a better game than P5 Royal.
