I'm pleasantly surprised by the comment section Almost every Afghanistan news story ive heard has just had comments about how great the Taliban are, now shit Biden is and how we shouldn't take in any refugees. So I braced for that and this was much more reasonable. Probably heavily moderated BBC's ethics policy can't moderate comments IIRC, they can only choose to turn them off.
