It's kind of a weird feeling being much more into anime/manga in general yet being left out when they talk about those shows.

Yeah, a bit of a bummer when I talk to my friend that watches some shonen anime and nothing else or my sister who doesn't watch much either.

I like OPM, but the others (except Juju K, which I'm not familiar with) are kinda eh.

Assuming hunter is hunterxhunter, I think it, opm, and jujutsu are some of the best shonen. Admittedly juju is somewhat carried by very good animation but the characters are at least moderately more mature than something like fairy tail. The way they approach having to kill people was handled pretty believably, like humans might actually do, instead of tropey anime characters.
