Comic fans do indeed complain about those sorts of things. It does not come across this way to all comic fans. In my experience it is only the angrier and more vocal ones. Most people that Ive encountered in actual comic shops and at conventions, alongside the majority of writers and artists, like the majority of this kind of progress.
