The writers sure didnt. I enjoyed seeing you praise S2 episodes 2 and 6, and Pike in general, as those were the only parts of the season that particularly worked for me. Season 3 is a step forward in some ways, while amplifying the shows absolute worst tendencies in others. I keep watching out of some perverse franchise loyalty, but outside of occasional flashes I really dont think theres a good show at the core of Discovery. --- Sometimes science is more art than science, Morty.
