Spoilers: So the main antagonistic force in Xenosaga is the Gnosis who can't be hurt unless you use this specific weapon which generates a field that forces them into a vulnerable state and it's equipped on the giant Mecha you can use periodically throughout the game. ~~Eventually you come across a guy named Chaos who just kills one straight up and the conversation is something like~~ ~~Shion: How did you do that?!~~ ~~Chaos: you know how people can just kinda do things?
