I feel like we're definitely seeing a "progressive cycle" repeat itself over and over again with these elections.

  1. Pick the deepest blue districts in the country because it's the only place you'll have any hope of being competitive in.
  2. Pick a candidate who's comically bad at politics.
  3. Brag about the amount of enthusiasm behind your campaign because of all the money you're raising online and volunteers you've brought in from out of state even though none of these people can even vote in the election.
  4. Make absolutely no effort to understand your actual constituency, your entire platform is made up of what deranged people on Twitter think is cool.
  5. Spend your entire campaign attacking Democrats which is surely what Democratic primary voters want to hear.
  6. When you inevitably lose just go to the Trump playbook and claim the election was stolen from you. Although even Trump never blamed the Jews so progressives are way ahead of the curve here!

What's really funny is that they've spent the last 5 years getting their shit kicked in like this despite raising enormous amounts of money, while at the same time lecturing real Democrats about electability. These people want you to believe Biden and Manchin don't know how to beat Republicans, but some random grifter they pulled out of a DSA meeting who can't even win a D+30 district does.
