The weird thing is the pandemic 100 years ago used masks and saved lives It's actually scary how the general public with much less information avaiable was much better at handling a pandemic over 100 years ago than the current public where every detail is publically known and why everything works and is suggested is freely avaiable. I hate to say it but it does give insight into why dictactors get such a following. People just don't want to think or accept things that suck. WAsn't it Churchil who said "The strongest argument against Democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter."
