I don't mean leaving python, but I mean looking into other programs like Javascript or C++? Do people spend years on one program before moving on or do they learn them side-by-side? It's best to stick with a single language to learn at least the basics. However, you may want to look at other languages to see if they make more sense to you to help you learn faster.
