I get that hot takes are fashionable now but it is not way to go through life. Nothing can be truly understood, analyzed or disseminated in a social media hot take. Drumpf was the ultimate hot take social media president for example.

The first Olympics were 776 years before Christ. People got together from all over the region to see who could box better, run faster, throw javelins and discuses farther. Jump higher and farther. They also gathered to see who could vault over a height with a pole. It was a valuable skill at the time - siege warfare etc.

I don't do it, I probably can't do it, but it is an original sport.
