I took a look at the previous games and there's so much freedom since you can go punch into kick into slash etc. While opening gatling stuff only has a few useful combos into launch/safety, there's an organic depth that results from the varied results you can get depending on the timing, angle, and range of when you hit a character and what you gatling into.
