Topic	So... when did animals stop being harmed in the making of this film?

The fucked up thing is they didnt tell the snake owner that they were actually gonna kill the snake and dude broke down crying when they did. that's fucked up. I never knew that (seen the movie 20+ times). Apocalypse Now (1979) definitely shows an actual water buffalo being ritualistically slaughtered it's fucked up.
