The original Frida the 13th movie had them killing a snake. The fucked up thing is they didnt tell the snake owner that they were actually gonna kill the snake and dude broke down crying when they did.

that's fucked up. I never knew that (seen the movie 20+ times).

Apocalypse Now (1979) definitely shows an actual water buffalo being ritualistically slaughtered it's fucked up. Maybe they got around the law because the ppl were going to kill it anyway and it's an indigenous culture but goddamn.
