It would cost a whale $1800 or take a F2P player a year and a half of grinding to max one single hero with this new system... and the game currently has 88 heroes. Even the biggest whales don't have $150,000+ to blow on a single game to max everyone out, and F2P players would literally die of old age and have to pass the game on to their kids and grandkids to have any hope of maxing everyone out.
Fucking Christ, now I feel even worse for ever giving that game money. (It was only $5, but still.) ---
