Lurrus in vintage is a little extreme because in vintage it was more of an issue of vintage playable cards are all obscenely broken and Lurrus just let you replay obscenely broken cards for basically no cost. The bigger problem was that in other formats you could build decks around companions like which played basically nothing but even costed clone effects to keep spinning the wheels over and over again.
