A bear that is raised with humans would likely have to be hungry to the point of absolute starvation to want to eat them. The issue with non-domesticated animals is that they have hormonal shifts and habits that we're not used to and they don't have the benefit of hundreds or thousands of years of breeding such traits out of them. For any animal, they can be fine 99.99% of the time and have a one off issue just once in their life, but a one off issue with a large animal can be instantly fatal to a human due to them not having the awareness to control their strength.

So when his hunger gets unbearable?
