| Mr Lasastryke 07/28/21 3:30:58 AM #370: | ok, i'm still slowly working my way through the list of songs and i do so have some comments: veracocha - carte blanche - these two guys are from my country, nice to see them get representation in this topic. i didn't know that they were known outside of the netherlands but i'm not surprised; trance/EDM is one of our bigges tmusical export products. good song. pat metheny group - the roots of coincidence - i actually listened to the entire imaginary day album, which i had never heard before (i'm reasonably familiar with pat metheny but he's made a ton of stuff and there's a lot of it i still haven't heard). excellent album. as for the roots of coincidence specifically, given that mycro is often negative about the electric guitar, i thought it was interesting that he picked a song where metheney plays a quite lengthy, rocking electric guitar solo. great song with great playing by everyone involved. currently at #292 so i'm past the halfway point. as slow as i'm going, i am making some progress, at least! --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
