To say nothing of this particular story or whatever political thing TC is trying to get at, I do really appreciate how well rocks work as weapons.

We've transcribed the human genome, gone to the moon, filled vast libraries with the creative and investigative work of humanity, invented technology that allows people to communicate across the globe almost instantly, and crafted weapons that can vaporize entire cities in an instant and despite all that from the dawn of humanity until today hitting someone in the head with a rock is still a great way to kill them no matter who they are. Something about the simplicity and timelessness just grabs me.
