I get it, having gotten back into Yugioh with my boyfriend and fighting against him and getting a game where he drew literally like half of his deck in one move was pretty wild lol. But I kinda of dig how silly it can be for some reason as well, and all of the summon types are neat to me. Synchro dealing with the Tuners is cool, Xyz being able to use materials that created it is pretty neat, Pendulums are what literally got me back into playing Yugioh because of how wild they are, and Link can work directly with Pendulums. But I absolutely get wanting to go back to the earlier days, since I started with that as well
