I have a similar story to some here in that I played in jr/high school and stopped for quite a few years before I got back into it really hardcore back in like... 2010 or 11? Synchros were in full swing. I think one of the first sets I remember coming out when I got back into it was the Ragnarok one? When I got to them on Legacy of the Duelist I got really excited for no reason lol. Anyway, I quit playing irl right as Xyz were coming onto the scene. But continued through duel links for a while so I'm still fairly familiar with that period.
