Back then, I remember being the first among my friends to "figure out" that a 40-card deck was superior, and that arbitrarily bloating the card count would just dilute the overall deck strength. I trimmed down to 40 and started beating friends who had better cards (like 2-3 Trap Holes versus my one) and they couldn't wrap their heads around why until I told them. This post reminds me.
