The hard cap for stamina you can hold in PriConne appears to be 999, and the game won't even let you claim the stamina from the daily missions if it would put you over this cap. You can still claim the stamina from the guildhouse even if you're at the cap and it goes to the present box, but you only have a time limit of 24 hours to spend enough stamina to claim it or else it just goes poof and disappears out of existence. So unfortunately, saving thousands of stamina for the extra Normal Quest drops event won't work. You can save up to 999, but that's it. I would say to spend your stamina normally each day until the 23rd, then let the stamina you get on the 23rd and 24th take you to (or close to) that cap of 999 to prepare for the double drops event starting on the 25th. Damn it.
