That game has you playing through the major duels of each anime series, which has the handy side effect of starting off relatively straightforward and gradually introducing the newer mechanics as you progress. I knew how Synchro and Xyz worked, but I couldn't wrap my head around Pendulum and Link until I got to see them in action via the game and try them out myself. I've also been gradually watching the anime, and am near the end of GX season 2. Chazz is the MVP. Chazz it up! I've reached the 5Ds story after getting frustrated with GX.
