I've been reading plenty of impressions of people who got the game early, and it sounds like the battle system gets a lot more involved later on. First of all you don't even have all the party members by the time the demo ends, so even just getting that fourth character apparently makes a world of difference. Yeah I figured it would be something like this. TWEWY loves slowly dishing out systems and is super easy until late in the game anyways so it checks out.
