This kind of crap has been going on in American schools forever. Plenty of dumbass questions about 'the benefits of slavery' getting crapped out of the brains of American teachers brought up with an American education.

It is a interesting dillema to think about. Cause slavery did benefit the country if morals are not considered. All those that died in the civil war was perhaps karma from reaping the benefits of the slaves hard work. Interesting to wonder just how different this country would be had we never done it. Would be better or worse off? No way to really know

Now I'm not saying I condone slavery just that if there was no benefit it would have been pointless outside just being evil.

On topic yeah I don't think the teacher shoulda got in trouble. Dressing up as Hitler was a bit much but I do prefer to view people in shades of grey rather than black and white. I always viewed hitler as purely evil but then I saw a video that disturbed me cause it was him seeming like a good decent and charming guy. I see the whole picture though and give credit where credit is due. Just cause you admit they did a good thing doesnt necessarily mean you are ignoring the bad. I never knew of any good hitler did as they only covered the bad in my classes. But seeing the whole picture I feel helps drive home evil can be lurking in otherwise seemingly good people
