You get out all sorts of ingredients for pancakes from scratch: a couple cups of milk; about as much all-purpose flour; some teaspoons of baking powder; a teaspon of salt; a tablespoon of white sugar; three tablespoons of butter, and some eggs. You melt the butter just a bit so it's soft.

After combining the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, you make a little indentation, throw in the butter, crack open the eggs and pour in the milk and stir that up until it's a smooth batter. After that, it's just a matter of putting it on the griddle.

"Mmm~..." Robin and Starfire hum as they approach.

"Have you not had breakfast yet?" you ask them.

"Well, we only ate a little bit of granola before an early morning training session," he says.

"It is alright, friend Rorek," Starfire says. "We can make the toast of the French people."

"Okay then," you say. "There should still be plenty of butter for that."

You have a good stack of pancakes, and still more batter to use for a few more. Raven enters now and floats over to you.

"Here you are," you say as you serve up three pancakes.

"Oooh, thank you," she says.

"You're welcome," you say. "I'll be starting both the house search and the search for a restaurant venue today, so maybe we could go to Silver Terrace to see what's there."

"Sure," she says. "Should I change into casual clothes or is my hero attire alright?"
