Castle of No Escape (PC)

This turned out to be one of those game where you dislike it at first but the more you play it, the more you enjoy it as you figure out how the game works/operates.

The game is entirely luck based/RNG.
It's a roguelike so RNG does come with the territory.

You have 3 classes to choose from: Champion/Human, Bandit/Wolfman, Shamaness
Each of them have their own statistics. Strength, Intelligence and Dexterity. Bandit seems to be the best character in the game due to his high dexterity which is very useful at the chance of running away. You also have 3 spells. Web is the only one worth using cause it helps you stun enemies and you can either fight them while they are stunned in the web or a chance to run away. You mainly want to run away from monsters most of the time as you search for the Artefacts.
You also don't ever want to have any of your stats reach zero, otherwise it's game over.

You are thrown into the Castle with 6 floors and have to find 5 Artefacts to stop the demon Nikolai.

The whole game is on a grid and in every room you'll either encounter an Artefact, items, torches, monsters, Nikolai, chests, books, merchants, gold, pools of liquid, crystal orbs.

I ended up liking the game so much I even went back to replay it a few times with the other classes to beat the game 3 more times.
